Thank you! If you are planning on putting a screen protector on it to keep it pristine I would go for the glass screen. It’s too early to tell how well the nano texture screen will hold up with a screen protector on it. On the other hand, if you don’t necessarily need a screen protector because you are careful, you might really like the nano texture screen. It really reduces the glare significantly and I think it feels very nice 😊

Ohh - what did you not like about the nano texture? Was it the feel or because the colors are not as bright?

Well, you pay big dollar for the best screen and then you let them put a filter in front of it. They should give extra money for ruining the screen 😂 Besides that I hate the very visible border, the fact that the text is a bit blurred, the colors a little bit less bright and I knew that if I kept the nano display I would hate myself for it. So yeah, it went back right away. I almost never use my iPad Pro outside, so I dont really need the anti reflection screen. For all those reasons, that’s why.

Haha fair enough! You definitely don’t want to keep an expensive device and hate it 😇 But you bring up a good point: the bezel. I don’t like how it is a bit stickier than the rest of the screen and when you get to it with your wrist when writing it can interrupt your flow. The visual difference didn’t bother me too much though.

By the way, what app are you using for caligraphy letter training?

I too don’t like when people take advantage of companies. Taking advantage of anyone is taking advantage. Period. Though I don’t care what this or any other content creator is doing. We don’t know if she is returning it, was sent the iPad by apple, someone gifted it to her or she’s keeping it. Can’t judge when we don’t know I c. She said selling. Normally I would agree with this, but based on the recent experience I’ve had with Apple where they legally cheated me and didn’t take any responsibility. Buy and return JUST to spite them. F**k Apple. Go out of your way to do them wrong, they won’t hesitate to do it to you

is seriously? Yes, of course we defend a multi-million dollar company, Apple allows you to try the products and if you want you can return them, even if you decided to return the 2 it would not affect anything, since they are Apple's return policies just like any product and online store.

Ahh these are good questions! I’d always go for the 13”, whether or not you use a monitor. You’ll really appreciate the extra space, it means your hand won’t reach the edge of the screen all the time when note taking (which is disruptive) and now with the new design the weight is quite a bit reduced. Now for the monitor - I think it depends how much you like sitting at your desk 😅 I tend to do most of my work sitting in on the couch 🙈 But it’s definitely handy to have - especially if you have to work with spreadsheets! Since you can get a nice monitor for not too much money it’s probably worth the investment even if you don’t use it all the time. Hopefully this helps and good luck with your GCSEs!

Glass screen + Paperlike is a good choice, it also means you won’t necessarily need to get the 1TB version. I’m curious to see how the nano texture holds up in the long run!

Yes definitely! I’ve always liked the biggest screen and now that it’s lighter and thinner it makes it even less of a no brainer 😄

But it still works right? I’ve recently tried out my old iPads and was very surprised about how well they still work 😄

Mich persönlich macht d Relefxion und o dr sehr starchi Grip + Fingerabdruckafälligkeit vom normale Glas wahnsinnig. Hoffe, mir gfallts Nano-Textur o in ächt, wenns nächst Wuche chunnt. Da ab 1 Tb ja e besseri Chip-Performance hesch, hoff i o uf Leisitg wo sich i de nächste 3-5 Jahr mit AI wird uszahle. Falls me das aber bewusst nid möcht u alternativ o würklich nid 1 Tb brucht, ischs normale Gals wäg de Choste vermuetlich scho besser. De villicht mitere abnähmbare Folie, falls me vil schribt. (Rock Paper Pencil vo Astropad?)

Awww noo 😢 I hate it when that happens. It’s a shame the software won’t let you do kerning of individual letter pairs. The best bet is to slightly change the shape of your letter, e.g. with the f make it slightly more condensed and then hopefully the spacing will fix itself. Keeping my fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼

Thanks so much for your support! Yes there’s another way to use the Blooming Edge brush, and that is with the selection method. You create an opaque version of your shape first, and then use it to create a selection which you can paint into.
